Another post on some news of the xbox 360. Forget my post about xbox 360 accessories, this is an all new xbox 360 slim that is slated for realease in 2009. This looks really promising and is sure to be a really hot new product for all the xbox 360 gamers out there. This is pretty sweet for me seeing as I have a broken xbox 360 that’s just lying around.

I’m curious: all your xbox 360 gamers, what kind of xbox 360 accessories do you have? Is the 360 like a guy’s version of a purse? Do we accesorize and decorate it or are we too manly to care? In all honesty, mine kind of sits around under my T.V. area, so it’s not as if it’s a huge fashion statement.

That being said, friends who come over would notice xbox 360 accessories I decided to use to pimp my rig. What’s your opinion on this? Here’s a quick vid I found on some xbox 360 accessories:

As you can see, this little suckers are stylish. Before I had a broken xbox 360 I was contemplating throwing down the cash to get one of these to get a nice Gears of war faceplate. Since I’ve got a black xbox 360 (360 elite) it would look really really sweet. Eventually I decided against it but I might still decide to splurge, especially with Gears of War 2 coming out soon…

This isn’t so related to xbox 360 gaming but I guess people have broken xbox 360s so we should help em out.

What do you do if your xbox 360 is broken? Well there is a temporary fix you can see in this video:

Other than that here is some information:

Immediately call xbox 360 support. The xbox 360 support number is: 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They’ll set you up with a free way to ship your 360 to Microsoft and they’ll replace it free of charge. Note that you’ll have to be under warranty. This is something that a lot of people hate. The warranty isn’t very long (~1 yearish?) so hopefully you stiill have it.

ADVICE: If you can somehow get extended warranty do so!

Also, if you get the xbox 360 repaired and you are under warranty they automatically extend it by a year, so you don’t have to worry at least for a while.

When you call them they’ll ask you to ship the xbox 360 back to them so do that and you should get your new one in a bit.

OK, that should cover the broken xbox 360. Now, what about halo 3 wars? Looks damn good doesn’t it. No real updates since then, just been looking at pictures and fan info.

Maybe the next post will be about Gears of War 2 and the new gameplay mechanics.

Halo wars is expected to be one of the most promising realeases for the xbox 360. One great thing about halo wars is that it will be exclusively for the xbox 360, so no other consoles will get a crack at it!

As you can see the new xbox 360 game looks epic. Being an xbox 360 exclusive game makes it all the better. This is freaking awesome! No one else can touch halo wars because only us 360 players should be getting it. That means Halo wars is going to do a good job of making ps3 players, wii players and computer players are going to be very jelous. The fact that we’re getting Halo Wars as an exclusive will tell you that xbox 360 sales will probably shoot up while we gain all kinds of authority and what not and the halo sales top the charts. I’m hoping the game will be awesome but who really knows?

I guess it’s hard to tell if something is going to be good at this stage, the only way to see will be if we read the advance reviews. Personally I’m only interested in the online multiplayer so we’ll see!

I think we can safely say that Gears of War was the Xbox 360’s first hit game. Well hopefully thats indicitive of good things to come for Gears of War 2…

We all know the Gears of War trailer was classic. Hell, its the reason I bought the game. For those of us who are unfortunate enough to be living in a cave, here is the first GoW trailer:

Obviously using Mad World in the background is what made the entire trailer epic.

Gears of War 2

This trailer uses the same poetic theme of the first, this time using the poem “Rendezvous with Death” throughout the action packed trailer. The deep voice of the actor makes the tone of the trailer just perfect.

As you can see, Gears 2 is shaping up to be all that and a bag of potato chips–at least in terms of marketing.

I just hope the online play and ladder system is alot more cohesive this time around, CoD4 and Halo 3 capitalized on those points and that’s what made them such great games.

Looks like good times for Xbox 360 users…
